HOME ALONE (PART 10)

I was shocked because what i saw was crazy and insane, it was disgusting and irritating. I saw a message from an unknown number.

"Pay #50,000 inside my account before this week end or the whole world go know say you be ashawo"

Who is this fool that can send this message now that imI'married or whats the plan of this person. I took my phone and dialled the number. It rang but there was no response, i was now feeling a uneasy because i could not bear the thought of all this rubbish going through my head right now. Last week it was uncle bayo, now it's someone trying to blackmail me.

But come to think of it o, It can be that useless uncle bayo o because hes capable of anything, he can do and undo, but hes an illiterate so I'm not sure if this kind of threat could come from him. I just ignored the message and acted like I saw nothing. Maybe its one of those pranks that some people pull on married people.

A week passed by without a word from the black mailer. I was at work a week after that message. I was busy working when i saw picture of me holding someone's joystick in my hand and my mouth wide open.

Immediately i saw the picture, i closed the windows and secured the door to ensure that no one was watching or getting a glimpse of my phone. I came back and looked at the picture closely. It was obvious that I was the one in the picture and it was very clear and i was very much recognized in the picture.

I called the number again this time around I was serious. I called and the caller picked. It was a male voice.

Me: hello

Voice: hello

Me: please who is this? (With shaky voice)

Voice: you day mad o, yhu think say ah day play before Abi? (Sounding angry)

Me: no sir o, you did not send your account number sir.

Voice: (realizing his mistake)ehen?....okay i go send am now.

Me: but sir ....

He banged the phone and within minutes i saw a text message on the phone with an account number, the bank name and the name of the owner of the account. There and then, i knew that whoever this person was, he must be new in the blackmailing business because someone who wanted to blackmail and scam someone else would not send his name along with an account number, but this fool just made a mistake.
